The project is located within the basin of the coastal valleys, including the sub ponds (except the Challaleh valley).It aims at rehabilitating the coastal valleys and ensuring the safe and efficient drainage of these valleys to the estuary. It also includes studies of the efficiency of existing ferries and structures, as well as design works required for flood protection and protecting the various installations and infrastructure within the basin of the coastal valleys.
