Constructed in 2005, Tal Al-Mantah Wastewater Treatment Plant was originally designed to treat 400 m3/day of domestic Wastewater transferred by Tankers. The Objective of the Project is to increase the capacity of the plant to accommodate a total of 600 m3/day of domestic wastewater and produce a treated effluent that can be used for restricted irrigation in accordance to the Jordanian Standards. The works can be summarized as follows :

  • New Aerated Grit Removal Chamber and all associated Structures and Equipment Works.
  • New Biological Treatment Tank employing Activated Sludge Process Works.
  • New Secondary Clarifier Works
  • Validation of the current design and operational process.
Identification of all required rehabilitation works
