Saray Al-Aqaba comprises of approximately of 617, 000 m² of master planned luxurious development with an approximate construction cost approximately 1 Billion USD. The development facilities include hotels (4 premium 5 star hotels and 2 boutique hotels), luxury residential units and villas, retail shops, restaurants, sports complex, beach club, amphitheater and conventional center with a total built up area of 484,262 m². As well as the water park, and a manmade lagoon over 60,000 m2 area and adding1.5 km to the sea shore, with350,000 m³ capacity extended from the sea water. The lagoon system iteratively pumps water into the project huge tanks used for cooling purposes and re-pumps water to the sea by large pipelines to ensure the safety of the lagoon’s water. The walls of the lake were constructed using large overlapping precast concrete slabs and encapsulated with industrial stone blocks resistant to water and salts.   This project included infrastructure components of Saraya Al-Aqaba as follows:

• Roads’ networks of 6.5 length including Single & dual carriageway roads
• Major road underpass including infrastructure and superstructure facilities.
• Central technical utilities plant
• Water, Wastewater and storm water drainage networks summing a total of 18 km length
• Irrigation networks
• Firefighting Systems
• Electrical, telecommunications, and street lighting works
• Water Tanks
