The purpose of the Public Acceptance and Social Survey is to contribute to a better understanding of the current levels of public acceptance of the Nuclear Power Plant, issues of concern to particular (socio-economic or other identified) groups, public expectations of the project, general concerns of the public, and to further inform project Stakeholders in all identified related aspects. The Survey is a major contributor to the understanding of public awareness and acceptance of the project, with particular emphasis on identifying any specific socio-economic factors which impact on this aspect of the project. The survey also helps in identifying the socio-economic characteristics of the population potentially affected by, and which are therefore considered relevant to the Project
