Pre-Design Site Investigation Services for USAID School Expansion Projects

- Services • Physical inspection and site investigations of school sites. • Verification of obtained data from MoE through interviewing schools' principals and authority representatives. • Apply the selection criteria (through site visits and data obtained from MoE) on 31 schools and selecting 20 schools that best meet the criteria. • Mapping of the existing school building and site area using GIS software • Conclude a site survey for each of the school sites • Analyse data and submit full documentation of results. • Propose school expansion plans and space programs and areas as well as all other necessary information. • Prepare all necessary documentation that will allow immediate initiation of school expansion design and construction
As part of the United States Agency for International Development in Jordan (USAID/Jordan) projects supporting the Ministry of Education (MoE) efforts to enhance school learning environment and to increase access to schools. this project aimed at selecting 20 schools and proposing school expansion plans and space programs for the selected schools to accommodate the Syrian students' refugees and to decrease the overall overcrowding in these schools.
