- Services • Review the design and supervise the construction of Jordan Research and Training Reactor design and construction project that shall be implemented by the Contractor • Provide JAEC with professional advice at every step in the process of the Project • Act as JAEC's consultant and advisor, and representative on site throughout all phases through the completion phase
The project is located within Jordan University for Science and Technology (JUST) and intended to serve the needs of nuclear engineers and scientists in Jordan, and provide irradiation services in support of the Jordanian industrial, agricultural and medical infrastructure. A total of 25,400 m3 of normal, heavy and grout concrete were used to construct the JRTR project’s civil works including the reactor components, tanks and support buildings.
