The project aims at aims at meeting the forecasted electricity demand and securing the electricity supply stability, through the provision of three overhead transmission lines (OTL) each of 400 kV potential, to transmit the power produced by the NPP from Amra to different areas (Namely; Al-Hassan, Al-Madounah,  and Zmaileh – located at 94km, 48km and 54km from Amra respectively). The project also included two newly proposed substations.
