- Services • Conducting market analysis survey and developing the market study report • Evaluation of the existing solid waste management (SWM) system, calculation of the greenhouse gas emissions of the present system, and developing integrated SWM system options for Amman areas along with their feasibility studies • Developing the engineering designs for the selected investment system, and implementing pilot projects in different areas in Amman for “sort at source” approach • Full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the selected investment system
This project aimed at describing and evaluating a number of concepts and to recommend a concept that could be the basis for future solid waste management within Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) in consideration of environmental advantages including greenhouse gases reduction and resources recovery, affordability and job creation.
