The KARAK Composting \ Sorting Plant project lies on a 5410 m2 fenced plot. The project aims to support the construction of a composting plant in Al-Karak that will provide sustainable waste management solutions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and produce organic fertilizers for agricultural use. The project is expected to contribute to Jordan's efforts to achieve sustainable development goals related to environmental protection and sustainable waste management. It involves the cooperation of various stakeholders, including the Jordanian Ministry of Environment, local authorities, and private sector partners.

• Preparation of technical design study report.
• Preparation of engineering designs, and architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Preparation of tender documents including contract conditions, technical specifications, bills of quantities and estimated costs.
• Preparation of project construction work plan.
• Preparation of structural, electrical and mechanical engineering calculations.
• Obtaining JEA, CDD and Municipality approvals.
• Support GIZ during the tendering process for the contractors and in any received questions/inquiries by the tenderer.
