Project Description: Construction of a ropeway system (Teleferik) that extends about 2.85 km from the Al-Sawwan development area (Plot 36 starting station) to the Ajloun Castle area (Plot 43 arrival station) within an aerial track in the surrounding mountainous areas and through the nine towers of the journey path. The trip between the two stations will take 10 minutes and will have a capacity of 8 passengers per vehicle, with a total of 40 vehicles for the entire system. The project aims to develop the Al-Sawwan area (Ajloun) and activate local tourism through an integrated promotional plan developed by the Jordanian Group for Free Zones and Development Zones. Multiple commercial activities, as the main objective of the project, is to advance the national economy and strengthen local and regional tourist attractions, including the benefit of curbing the problem of unemployment and creating job opportunities. The project includes two starting and arrival stations, the first station is the starting station inside plot No. 36 with a total area of 3882 square meters of all buildings (the restaurant, the administration building and service rooms) in addition to the parking lots, and the second station is the arrival station and near the Ajloun Castle inside a plot Land No. 43, with a total built-up area of 2254 square meters, including the arrival station, the administration building, the restaurant, and parking. These stations are interspersed with metal towers along the flight path, with a total of 9 towers of different sizes and heights, designed by the Austrian company that manufactured the system. The works of the project were divided into two packages (Package1 & Package2), as the works of the first package Package1 include the works of the starting station building, the arrival station building and the nine metal towers. The works of the second package 2 include the works of the administration building and the restaurant for plot No. 36 and the administration building and the restaurant and all service rooms (guard rooms, control rooms, electricity ...etc.)
