Baptism Site Development Zone
Project Description: As a UNESCO World Heritage site that attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims and visitors every year, this project aims at creating a master plan for the development zone of the Jesus Christ Baptism Site, to protect the spiritual, cultural and environmental value of the Baptism site, whereas the consultant will propose functions, as well as short and long-term strategies for infrastructure development, phasing and integration of investment opportunities and development of opportunities for surrounding local communities. The Master Plan includes the following components:
- Hotel expansion (additional 600 keys)
- Museum and amphitheater
- Educational facilities
- Spiritual and Wellness Retreat Center
- Green Areas and botanic spaces
- Village Square: retail and public plazas
- Parking areas and accessibility aisles
