Construction supervision of the 8 km Tafileh Desert Highway, with a 7.2 m width carriageway road and 3 m shoulder at each side. The works included clearing the area, earthworks (including building embankments, excavation, ditch digging, and backfilling),  filling and compacting, watering, rolling, sheathing, sub-grade and slope finishing, construction of pavement layers and topping layers, laying sub-base-coarse, seal coating, shoulder and lanes, building a drainage structure that included pipe and box culverts, and digging lined and unlined ditches.
