Located on plot 552 donum area, the sanctuary aims at providing an environment similar to the animals’ natural habitat, as well as attracting local and international tourists by providing eco-lodges for overnight stays, a visitor centre, and a restaurant.   The project also included external works including 5400 meters non-electrified fences, 3600 meters of electrified fences, agricultural roads and unpaved roads, as well as the entire infrastructure and the establishment of a pond and water channels to collect storm water.
