Construction supervision of Lajjun wastewater treatment plant located about 20 km east of Karak towards Qataraneh and 11.5 km distant from the main road. The aim of constructing a wastewater treatment plant is to treat the wastewater transmitted by the tanks in Lajjun to serve the unconnected area with sewer networks with a capacity of 1, 500 m3 /day. The waste stabilization ponds consist of two sets of aerobic, facultative and maturation ponds covered with high density polyethylene to prevent the leakage of wastewater to ground water, where the treated water can be used for watering and planting trees which surround the station to preserve the environment.
