Construction supervision of Lajjun wastewater treatment plant located about 20 km east of Karak towards Qataraneh and 11.5 km distant from the main road. The aim of constructing a wastewater treatment plant is to treat the wastewater transmitted by the tanks in Lajjun to serve the unconnected area with sewer networks with a capacity of 1, 500 m3 /day. The waste stabilization ponds consist of two sets of aerobic, facultative and maturation ponds covered with high density polyethylene to prevent the leakage of wastewater to ground water, where the treated water can be used for watering and planting trees which surround the station to preserve the environment. The project consists of: ·          The excavation works (600 m long two lane road, 12 m wide with 2 shoulders, 2 m wide sidewalks, 4,800 m2 unloading area with 6 manholes, dikes and parking) 93113  m3 ·          Backfilling 68, 076 m3 ·          Base course 1, 820 m3 ·          Sub-base course 2, 233 m3 ·          Asphalt works 1,820 m3 and mixed Asphalt 11, 583 m2 with 5 cm thickness ·          Stone works, 500 m and concrete for the unloading area 400 m2 ·          Polyethylene (HDPE)  work 49, 800 m2 ·          Barbed-wire fence with a height of 1.5 m and 4 entrance gates for vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment and pedestrians 2, 851 m. ·          The administration building with an area of 85 m2, the walls, the septic tank and the underground reservoir works. The electromechanical works.
